This Saturday night, in my hometown of Shelburne, NS, the band and I will be sharing the stage with the incredible, one and only, my favourite band right out of Halifax - In-Flight Safety!!! I’ve been listening to this band since their first big single, “The Coast Is Clear”, and have adored them ever since. By all means, I’m not the only one that adores them; with a Juno award under their belt, a world wide fanbase, and even recognition from David Bowie (!!!) these guys are beyond good! They also have a new Album coming out very soon which I can’t wait for!

So Shelburne! It is a really incredible thing to have musicians come down to our little town, so I really hope to see a whole lot of you out this weekend! When so many people have little to do on a Saturday night, I’m proud to say we are bringing the entertainment right to your doorsteps, and for such a great price! $7 students, and $17 adults! Show starts at 8pm! Make sure to bring along your dates, friends, mom, etc! It’s going to be such a blast!

So there is this great band from Halifax that is heading on tour and we’ll be heading out with them to a select few locations! Our friends, The Odd Bit, having just launched their debut E.P. this October, are currently touring it through the Maritimes. Their single “First Impression” can be heard on East Coast Countdown, and the entire E.P. is available on iTunes for a steal of a deal! We’re really excited to have jumped on board to tour with them, especially since we get to head to our side of the Province, down to the South Shore, and then off to Cape Breton, which is originally where The Odd Bit in their earlier years called home themselves. The band and I are getting all geared up and ready to go so for those in Shelburne, Yarmouth, Port Hawkesbury, and Sydney – get ready to come out and get loud with us!
