Great time @ New Music Fridays & Michael’s!

Monday, September 16th, 2013

What a weekend! Thank you everyone who came out to our 2 back-to-back shows in Halifax this past weekend! New Music Fridays at the Casino was such a blast and just an amazing venue! We are sending out a huge Thank-you to Music Nova Scotia for the amazing opportunity and also to Quiet Parade and Trevor Murphy for always being so incredible! And thanks to everyone who we shared the the night with, on and off stage making it a great show! Michael’s was equally fantastic, having this been our first time playing that stage as well! Thanks to Jessica at Fusion Entertainment for hooking us up with this gig!! As well as to Brandon Davis Miller, Ragged Mane, and of course my friends, The Odd Bit, who all rocked it Saturday night! Can’t wait for the next opportunities to play with these amazing local talents again and to run into some more familiar faces at our gigs! It was great to meet all of the new folk who came out as well!

New Music Friday - Natalie LynnTHIS WEEKEND!! We are hitting Hali with 2 back to back gigs! We are so excited to announce we are playing at the Casino Nova Scotia for the New Music Friday showcase for September 13th with our favourite band, Quiet Parade headlining!! Trevor Murphy, the frontman of Quiet Parade is one talented individual, taking on multiple roles in the Music Industry with his variety of different talents! Having shared stages with him and the band in our hometown, it’s a real opportunity for us to be performing at a Halifax venue with them! Check out their band page http://quietparade.bandcamp.com – I bet you will love them too! From recent years, I’ve also been lucky enough to share songwriters stages with Crystal, whose energy and talent rocks any stage! Looking very forward to catching up with these friends, who also call the South Shore home like myself and my band. We will definitely mention the Odd Socks being a hilight of the night for us, as we’ve never gotten to see these guys play yet! They are also oustanding so make sure you get to the show to catch them and the rest of us!! It’s FREE not to mention… FREEEEEEE! So really, you should be asking yourself ‘ WHY NOT ?! ‘ right? It’s worth your time and I’d love to see you there!!
